Brian Cook (lead vocals), Derek James (drummer), Stephan Makarewicz (guitarist),
and Greg Barre (bassist), members of the socially conscious Canadian rock band WHY
not only produce excellent music, but they also donate a portion of their proceeds to improve
lives. WHY is a leading example to all artists to use creative arts to raise global
awareness for worthy causes.
WHY is donating 40% of the proceeds from their RED CD to
WATERCAN in recognition of the crucial work WATERCAN does in east
Africa. WATERCAN, a Canadian-based
charity, strives to help some of the world’s poorest people gain access to clean water,
basic sanitation, and hygiene education.
