He is making an arugula and bibb lettuce salad with walnuts, cherry tomatoes, leeks, olives, green peppers, and dried cranberries, to be served with a homemade blue cheese dressing and freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Dinner is chicken marsala in a mushroom medley over spinach fettuccini and a crusty loaf of artichoke bread bought from Arcangeli's Grocery. An olallieberry pie from Duarte's is on the counter. It looks scrumptious.
