Tim Christensen Biography

Tim Christensen

Tim Christensen taught at Half Moon Bay High School from 1981 until 2004. He is an English teacher and also holds a Master's Degree in Instructional Technology and teaches Web Design. He has known the author, D.B. Pacini, since 1995. In addition to teaching, he works as the Web Designer and Photographer for the Emma's Love Letters project and has helped with the editing. Tim also wrote and will sing one of the songs for the CD titled "Honey."

"I am one of the five friends who urged D.B. Pacini to expand the Emma's Love Letters short story to novel length. Working on this project has been an exciting privilege. She allowed me into the inner sanctum of her creative process. She is inspiring and has a tremendous amount of personal integrity, and that integrity shines forth in her written works as well as in the way she treats the members of the co-creative team. We have been treated with love and respect throughout this project. Ms. Pacini also has an overflowing enthusiasm and energy, which is contagious."

In August of 2004 Tim Christensen moved from Half Moon Bay, California, back to his home town of Lodi, California, taking a teaching job near his home, and in October of 2004 he married our author. They are not stuck in Lodi, however, because they divide their time doing creative works in the Central Valley as well as in the Bay Area.

Regarding Guitars Not Guns (GNG), "I think the GNG program is incredible. As a high school teacher I fully support such programs being made available to at-risk youth, and I'm proud that this project helps to promote GNG."
