The Hunter

Soaring Arrow can feel the earth as no one else can. His deaf ears prevent him from hearing crickets chirp, birds sing, or fish splash, but they do not prevent him from acutely feeling subtle vibrations. He knows the exact moment when a fish swims near him. He can stand perfectly still, waist-deep, and then suddenly plunge his arm into the water, raising his hand above his head holding a flapping fish. He can find rabbits that are hiding in hollow trees and bushes. If White Eagle is to find a feast this bleak winter morning, he knows he should take Soaring Arrow with him.
